: You won't believe the improvement in your coupe's handling simply (well, not so simply - changing the rear shocks is a pain in the butt) achieved by upgrading the struts and shocks.

: Have you noticed the squat and dive problems when you're accelerating or braking? How about the way that neat unweighting effect wants to throw the rear end of the car around? These problems are virtually eliminated by good shocks.

: I'd imagine new springs, sway bars and camber plates help as well, but on a scale of 1 to 10 replacing the shocks scores about 25 . I've upgraded my shocks on two previous cars and thought I knew what to expect. Man was I wrong...

: Roy, if you're anywhere in San Diego or Orange county, e-mail me directly and I'll let you experience it firsthand.

: Mike

: P.S. Paul - you gonna show up for the May 6 autox at Qualcomm? I'd love to see how the car handles...

I'm in Oregon, so Orange County would be quite a schlepp...

Which shocks did you install for such great results. I do have some trailing throttle oversteer, but nothing like my '85 Merkur!!
