I concur... I must not know anyone that understands cowl induction. Admittedly, there are only two people that I have gathered my knowledge from... a friend with a Steeda Cobra and an F1 race car builder with a twin-turbo Pantera (custom freon-air intercoolers) from NH.

Perhaps here is the combination of what you said... one is the "Person who doesn't know anything about cowl induction" and the other is the person with a "fairly exotic car" (of course, he had a rear engine car... so maybe not).

Either way, I do appreciate your info! Either way, the rep at the Detroit auto show said that the hood was specifically designed as a "cowl induction" piece.

Of course, I only heard this from my BMW salesman who attended the auto show.

Perhaps I should stick to bikes, afterall... j/k ;-)

Thanks again.
