Don't sweat the spare...mixed feelings on color (archive)

I wouldn't worry about it. My second automotive life is as a Miata nut, and we all yank the donut in the name of trunk space. A cell phone and a AAA card are far smaller, lighter, and probably more effective. ;) The only time I've ever lost a low-profile tire (on another car), it was sufficiently trashed that the mobility kit wouldn't have done squat.

Personal preference. The Oxford Green is gorgeous (I wish my 540 were Oxford or Orient Blue instead of black), but I'm not a fan of the Coupe in dark colors. Mine is Silver/Black (though I'd have loved the Imola interior just to go totally retro.) I was torn between Silver and Estoril Blue, so I bought an Estoril model for my desk. Looks nice next to the Silver Z8. ;)
