can't say this as a general rule, but mcoupe owners tend to take really good care of their cars - got my '99 black with 8000 miles on it, two scratches on fender, but otherwise it was mint - for $37k. the money i saved i spent on mods.

:) <----- that is my face after the mods...

: We had checked out multiple Philly area dealers and none would budge on price - for new M Coupes. You might consider doing what many of us on the board have done and bought "slightly" used Coupes saving as much as $10k over new MSRP. I saved about $7k getting a '99 with 6700 miles on it. Seems like a lot of people have buyers remorse, or their wives don't like it, or they need a back seat. Whatever, it sure saves the second owner a lot of greenbacks. We had a local dealer check out the car for $75 before we bought it and it was 100% ok.
: It won't hurt to haggle with the dealer and if they don't budge, you can walk out! Good luck. John
