BTW Crevier in the LA area is excellent. Not the most economical.. but. I've also found they stock coupe parts, that others don't. Like, how about an Mcoupe car cover, BMW no less. That's gotta be an off item for most, with less than 1500 cars on the road, how many do you think each dealer has coming through? I've found they've had everything I asked for, including Imola Red touch up kits, a bra...etc. So, good dealers definitely exist, hopefully as the majority!
: So i bring my car in yesterday for a small array of problems, the 2 biggest ones I know they wont fix, but i have to start the process.
: My ass hurts when I drive. I get sucked into the left back of the seat, and it is WAY uncomfortable. They say "nothing is wrong, it isn't adjustable, its fine". Tell it to my rear you chump.
: My wheels look like they were painted by a 12 year old kid with a can of Rust-Oleum, Honda Civic-16k-nicely painted wheels, M Coupe-42k-crappilly painted wheels, something doesn't add up. According to BMW SF "This is because of driving conditions and possibly sand". Oh yeah, overspray happens when your wheels get wet and accumulate some road tar, yeah whatever buddy.
: Parking brake is WAY loose when in the down position "parking brake was tensioned and the play is no longer there", get into the car, wiggle wiggle shake-a shake-a, yeah nice job. Quality mechanics.
: My drivers window comes down about 1/8" and barely clears the rubber gasket. "Those were re-adjusted and now they come down farther". Now it comes down 1/16", and a piece of paper would have a hard time fitting between the window and rubber trim gasket.
: On a better note, they supposedly put a check valve on the hosing somewhere for the rear wiper. I am going to test this weekend and see if it helps. They also managed to actually get the door locks adjusted so that they both come out of the door the same amount. Amazing.
: So No resoloution on;
: Seat uncomfortable,
: Crappy paint job on wheels,
: Gear shift getting WAY nothcy sometimes,
: Stink of washer fluid when using either rear or front washers.
: Thanks for letting me vent, we now return you to the regularly scheduled USEFUL conversation.
