bimmerfest problem? OT (archive)

Okay I couldn't make it myself but from what I heard there was a really really nice purple M3 with Dinan everything and a kick ass stereo system. I think it might be Vshahs car. What I would like to know from those who attended is why he did not even place in the top 3? What did you all think of the car? How was the winner determined? I was told by my friend that the 1st place winner was a 323Ci with hammon rims (19" stupid) and clear lights and Dinan intake???? The M3 had considerably more work done. Just what was the criteria for the coolest BMW contest?

On another note, he noted that although 50% or so of the people who showed up were non white all of the winners were and even possibly that the winner (1st place) knew the judge!!?

Okay so this is all speculative, but that is why I want to get the impression from the people who attended the event. If you feel you must flame me then flame on. My feelings can't be hurt by words. I only ask that you flame me to my mailbox so as to keep it out of this board.
