: : That is my harness bar. I obtained it from Speedware Motorsports, 7509 159th Place, N.E., Redmond, Washington 98052. 425 869.5680. Talk to Shaun. They are great to work with. The bar works perfectly and is an easy DIY project. The most time comsuming part is dismounting the seats to get the lap belt on the side of the seat next to the transmission tunnel.
: : I noticed on my previous post on this that I made an error. I previously said that you lose 5" in seat travel. It should have been .5" to 1".
: : Why doesn't my bank ever make a decimal point error like that?
It was not "custom"--although I would suspect they have not made many units. As I recall, the price was aroun $600--pricey but worth it because of the nice fit and finish (since the bar is a hassle to take in and out, it is nice to have a finish that looks OK for the street). Give them a call for all the details. This installation directions are not the clearest but they have good tech support.
