Even though William has 0 tact and a bad case of America envy, I have to agree that autoX gets old pretty quick. I live in Texas and its hard to get excited about 6 minutes of seat time and 8 hours of frying in the hot sun. When I first did it though, I couldn't wait, now I skip most and try to go to events at tracks or high speed autoX where you get multiple laps, wind out the car and get to use at least 3 gears. No flames, just an opinion.

: Autocross is soo fake, most of them don't even need to shift gear. They put cones around the 'parking lot' to make a fake track. What is the fun of that?? American people really have werid interest...!? Why not go to a real race track or drive in a canyon.
