So I bought the set of 4 racing dynamic pedals from Turner Motorsports. The kit was $150 total. $100 for the main three, and an extra $50 for the dead pedal.
The pedals are ALL aluminum. What really sold me on these is that the throttle pedal is not narrow like the schnitzer or BMW E46 pedals. Hopefully making my Hell-Toeing easier.
The main three pedals slip onto the existing pedals with little brackets tightened down by little allen head bolts. I was skeptical at first, but they seem to be ROCK SOLID, and my worries of pedals sliding off has been put to rest. You are able to position the RD pedals in any horizontal configuration youwant because of the fact that they are "slip on" pedals. This has been great to help me fine tune where I want the brake and gas to be, in relation to each other. At first I had the brake all the way right, and the gas all the way left, but I kept hitting the gas every time I wet to use the brake, so I spread them apart a little.
The dead pedal was a little "low-tech". Since there is no good tab or non-smooth surface to clamp on to the dead pedal comes with this tacky tube of a glue like substance.
I really can't explain what this stuff is. it is black, really tacky, and quite solid, they say youcan squeeze it out of the tube (which is really a hot dog shaped piece of aluminum foil with the adhesive inside, very easy to cut with a razor), but that was not the case. I actually ended up cutting the tube and its contents into about 30 little slivers, and then used these to stick the dead pedal to the exisiting plastic foot rest. In hind site I probably shodl have drilled something and used some mounting bolts or what not, but it was late and I was anxious!
All inthe all the set looks great, and feels great. I immediately went to heel toe, and got a BIG smile onmy face (I was always very sacred to tryit with the existng pedals, for fear of slipping off of the brake and getting into a bad sitation ). IMO it is rare that a modification you ad is so much noticeably better. Most of the time I go "Well thats a little better, cool". This time it was lke night and day for me.
Here are some pics. (these were taken at night after doing the install, please excuse the cruddy quality)
