: Was sitting in front of my silver/black m the other day eating my tacos, chewing, enjoying the lines, when I noticed that the clearance betw the hood bottom and top of bumper wasn't quite the same left side vs right side. Left side seems tighter at about less than 1/4 inch clearance while the right side is just shy of 1/2 an inch.

: Anyone else notice this on theirs?

: J (1000 miles on the odometer. 200 more to go - woohoo!)

Proper clearance is 5mm, all around....fully adjustible by rotating the four rubber stops(HOOD DETENT BUFFERS)see page 410-4/5 of your BentleyZ3 manual...all of you Msters should have one of these as almost all of the body/interior, etc.details are the same...your service/dealer guy is either stupid or lazy, lame in any case...be more assertive with them...offer to buy them a manual so they can read the spec's and no longer need to rely on myths and rumors...PS-ALSO BUMPER HEIGHT IS ADJUSTIBLE ,TOO...just in case they try to sell you that particular load of ~~~~, along with a certain bridge.....cheers! dk
