FROM VWOA Site:
Base MSRP $24170
Destination Charge $525
Technical
Transmission 4-speed automatic transmission, adaptive $875
Emissions California Emission Requirements $100
Northeast Emission Requirements $100
Interior
Radio/Audio 6-disc CD changer See Dealer

You are right, with added automatic (yikes!) the MSRP is $25k. My bad. What features does it miss? I certaintly has luxury items such as real leather, trip computer, power seats, auto wipers, self dimming mirrors and heated seats.

I also apologize for posting about a sedan on this board. Didn't realize I was on the Z3 board when I read the original post.
As for the "feels much better" arguement, I was only comparing real attributes, not subjective opinions.
As for "superior engineering" I've read enough posts here to realize that BMW has just as many problems with their cars as any other manufacturer. From the M3 trans. issue to leaky rear window washers.
I think every manufacturer should "COPY" the driving event idea. Competition between manufacturers can only produce better cars.
And yes, I've been in an M-coupe and am in the market for one now. I just think the 3 series, again for the money and average driver, isn't worth it.
