By the way Zandr - nice collection of cars! Not as long as mine, but damn nice!

Not as long as yours? Do tell. And are we talking life history or current fleet?

The list you saw was my wife's and my current fleet, though I've only had a couple of other cars. As you can see, I have a hard time "letting go." Why I still have that Postal Jeep I'll never know, but I just can't stand to see the old beast go. The cars I have let go were a '77 Rabbit (good riddance) and a '73 Fiat 128SL (which I kinda liked).

And Brit too! My Dad recently got an MG Midget! After years of being pissed at me for having my Triumphs (and we both always repairing them together), it came as a shock, as it was the time I had gotten into 4dr automatics (YECH!!!!!!) during the period I quit racing.

The Midget was a $100 rescue from a friend's backyard, and worth, uhhh, every penny I paid. It's a NJ rustbucket, so what it gets turned into is anyone's guess. I was thinking rotary, but the GRM $1500 Challenge winner got me thinking. For those who don't read Grassroots Motorsports (and what's wrong with you?), the car was a Midget with a Cosworth Vega driveline. I'll probably do something outlandish with a Heritage tub and the parts from this car.

And yes, my Dad is responsible for my affliction as well. The Lancia was his, and he gave it to me for my birthday last year. It's in the heirloom category; he did on occasion have to point out to my mother that the car was there first. ;) He's doing the 4x4 thing now, but I think he'll get the bug for a sports car again in a few years.
