Ok, the Miata is a great car, hands down. And the RX7 is an even BETTER car, no ifs, ands, or buts. What I still say is, no matter how good they make their cars, no matter how well they copy them - they will never have the sould of the TRUE British sports cars. Nor will you ever have the campfire (or PUB) stories to go with them.

The GEN 1 RX7 was near the 924. The GEN 2 RX7 was near the 944. The GEN 3 RX7 reminds me of the old TVR's, specially the Griffins.

I agree on the Z3/Miata copy, you are right. But except for the Toyota 2000 GT, NO Bond ever has any other Japanese car :)

Damn, you are right! The 510 is one of the most AWESOME race cars! Specially the old red/white/blue ones (was that BRM???). And they lasted a loooong time in racing too!

As for the MGC or MGC-GT, yes, I saw a few of them years ago! Exact same car as the B in looks, but had a Healy 6 under the hood. FAST in their time, and quite RARE! Not as rare as a TR5 (with the Lucas Injection), but still rare.
