well, the Europa was not a JPS. the Special meant that it had the big valve head and a 5-speed. unfortunately i couldn't resist tinkering with it, and what started out as a project to replace the water pump ended up with a fully reworked engine (that i put together in my living room) and a spyder chassis with double-wishbone rear suspension... neat project, but i spent far more time messing with it than driving it.

the rx7 was a bit of a beater, but i did put a header in it. then added a flowmaster muffler - you could literally hear it a mile away. after a subsequent muffler change i had almost as much in the exhaust as i paid for the car in the first place!

SO, with the above lessons in mind i'm keeping the focus stock!!! - it actually did pretty well in its couple of track outings, and was second in street tire class A/X behind a contour SVT - while running on stock all-season goodyears. it is easily the equal of a stock 318ti, maybe not in interior appointments but definitely in performance.

anyway, judging from your list you've had (and are still having!) more than a fair share of fun!
