After my car was stolen a few years ago, California Auto Repair did all of the bodywork necessary. I figured that they'd do a good job considering that they work on Ferraris and Maseratis to name a few. Boy was I wrong. They took better than a month to finish up what should have been about 5 days worth of work. They refused to return my calls and made false promises from day one. Also, I got a call from the towing company who had towed my car to the shop stating that CAB had refused to pay them the towing fee. When they did eventually write a check for it, the check turned out to be from an empty account. Sorry I don't have any good advice to give (although I hear Clayland Auto Body in San Rafael is pretty good), but I just don't want anybody to get screwed over by the vale of a high class shop.: I was headed home from an SCCA Autox school last night, minding my own business, when some (insert expletive here) decided to pass me at high speed. Unfortunately, he lost control of his car, tagged a guardrail and bounced off my car. Fortunately no one was hurt and my car sustained relatively minor damage to the left front side.
: So, I could really use a recommendation for a top-notch bodyshop in the SF area.
: Thanks,
