I don't know if this is normal or not, but I've noticed it the past few weeks now.

If I'm at a red light, and I hit the gas hard (but not to squeel the tires), I notice that around 3000 RPM, I get a loss of power for 1/4 to 1/2 second and then it continues to accelerate. This produces a jerk reaction simular to hitting the breaks very hard and letting go.

I was just thinking that it could be the ASC, but I haven't seen the yellow light blink, but then again I wasn't exactly looking at it directly.

I've got a Z3 Coupe with stock 17" rims on 245-45ZR17.

Any opinions?
