1. Rear wiper leak- yes, many coupes have this problem- but there are a few fixes that can be done to stop this from happening, definitely not a reason to not buy an Mcoupe.

2.Constand paint chipping- had my car for a year and 2 months (early 2000 car) and the only chips I have are on the front from me tailgating slow ass drivers (dirty habit I know)- not many chips.

3. Start car in morning- there is a fix for this (as far as I know- if your car happens to have this problem. Mine didn't.

4. Car has 0 rattles, and the various engine noises are one of the best things about the car.

5. Rear hatch button breakage- (you missed this one)- many coupes rear hatch buttons break, mine has not- but will be fixed under warranty, not a big issue at all.

I traded in a 99 C5 6spd for my Mcoupe and have not regretted the decision one bit (I would say if I did). If your looking for a V8 muscle car to go straight fast look no further than the Vette, handling was ok (they really are two different types of cars). Plus, how many Vettes do you see in a weekend- they are everywhere near me, can't stand it.

The only Boxster I would consider is the "S"- I have nothing bad to say about the car, its an awesome machine. Its a convertible, where the Mcoupe is a hatchback that has a sunroof that only tilts. So, they are hard to compare- the Mcoupe is faster also.
