- the yoko is an ok tire, but by all accounts it is not on par with the latest R rubber. it seems to be more the equivalent of the bfg g-force KD (not the R). i had a chance to run a few clean, no-traffic laps behind an M Coupe on 032's (225/255), while my M Coupe was on KD's of the same size. i had a passenger while he didn't - and we were dead even for several laps. i've seen what R tire advantage looks like in the turns (==disappearing act ;), and he didn't have that.

- i have no direct experience with bfg R1's, but based on what i saw on KD's the R1's should be phenomenal. a frequent complaint i hear is wear - 3 or 4 track days (not even races!) and they're gone.

- kumhos seem to have the advantage of price and performance on par with R1's, based on most feedback (and Solo II championships!). i'd say among your three this would be my choice.
