I use the BFG T/a R1's as my autocross track tire.

I have only a few comments.

1. They are very stickey and hold a corner very well. They seem to hold well even when cold.

2. In a two driver car they lasted six months. I figure they are good for about 1:45 to 2:00 hours of autocross time.

3. They cut at least two seconds off my time over stock tires.

4. At the limit, when they let go, there is no warning. Today at an autocross I shifted into second gear on a curve (yes I should know better!) and did a 360 spin!

5. The 225/45 is a bit tall and I got rub on the inside of the strut tower. (Very very little.) I orderd 235/40 which I hope will avoid this problem.

6. If cost is not an issue I think they are a great autocross tire.
