The dual-VANOS and DSC are merely an evolution of the driveline issue. The M guys have had great success with the current 3.2 liter. It takes time and big $ to move these things forward, why change it?

The OBC (on board computer) was lost to the stylists, How do you put a chrome ring with an analog around that function? I will happily drop OBC for the style of the M dash. The only thing I miss from my old 3 series OBC is the outside temp (big loss there!) and checking my speedo with the average speed function.

: Just curious why the regular Z offers OBC, double-vanos, DSC but the more expensive M does not? My dilemma is I want M performance but I also want these options. Comments?
