When a friend asks if the "right" car for him or her is a BMW, Porsche etc, I always point out that you have to consider the cost and bother of replacing damaged wheels, broken spoiler lips, etc when you decide if you can "afford" a car. Once the owner starts looking for "bargains" in replacement or repair parts, the vehicle starts to deteriorate. I usually try to find "take-off" wheel if I need one for a BMW, Benz, etc. Otherwise, I'll wait until all 4 need refinishing. On my wife's vehicles, I've learned not to look at the rims too closely........
