If you know the brief history behind this car you would never compare it to a Corolla. If BMW decided to leave the windows sticking out an inch to save us (the enthusiast owners) a couple of hundred (probably more like thousands) then I am all for it. If you think the window sticking out 1 inch when lowered is a lame design then you should not be considering this car at all! The corolla has more interior space, bigger trunk, and higher gas mileage, cheaper, etc. Go buy the corolla instead. My friend has one and SHE loves hers.

: Either way, it's a lame design. The most basic Corolla wouldn't leave the factory that way. We'd should expect better for our $40k.
