Ideally, I need someone to confirm for me that the pins on the right side (factory harness) represent these same items. The pins for battery and ignition on the supplied harness aren't even connected to a "hot" source.

>>>>Looks good to me. Some of the colors you refer to as white are actually gray. Yellow (battery) is connected to the BMW connector X13025 pin 1 which is a hot at all times line. Violet (ignition) is connected to X13025 pin 2 which is a hot in accessory, run and start line. X13025 pin 3 is ground. Email me later today and I'll scan and post the prints.
