Hi there,
I know how you feel with the very weak AC of the M Coupe. I agree with you that it does not blow cold air until you are driving at Freeways Speeds.
I live in Southern California and the sun here is comparable to that in Texas...meaning HOT!
I had a problem last summer with the AC. Whenever I left the car parked and came back to drive it, the AC will stay hot for almost 10 minutes if not more. What I did was install window tint on my car, and that seemed to solve the problem for me. After that, getting in the car was a lot better and the AC was blowing colder air even in traffic. The problem is that tinting is not legal on the driver and passenger windows, and I was cited for that...
So, now I am trying to decide if I should go for a hot summer ride, or a tinted ride with the risk of being caught..
Give it a try before selling the M Coupe..
I don't want you to sell the car and regret it later on ..
