As I said, the ONLY excuse I can mutter about today is the tires. The KD's are so new, the tread didn't even have scrub marks on it. And on the surface we were on, sort of a sealed asphault, it was slick! And being new tires, it will be some time before I get the air pressures right, but I feel I will need lower than I was using before. Oh, and I adjusted my front swaybar to the middle position from the soft setting I had been using.

But condsidering all the above, and using 39psi frt and 32psi rear, the car felt MUCH better and more stable than it did in the last event I ran in. When these tires break in, I have a feeling they will be ASS-KICKING!

When they lost grip, it didn't come as a surprise. They let you know. And the turn-in, even on the slick surface, was VERY responsive (again, for a NEW tire without any wear at all). The ride was not any different than the Pilot MXX3, but they are a bit noisier than the Pilots (couldn't hear it over the TRAPP, so I had to coast to tell). What I feel will happen with these is this - when they wear-in, they will be WAY better than the MXX3's when at their prime! Kevin may have picked the PPS02's for his reasons, but I think that for a serious AutoX or track driver who can't/won't get R tires, THESE are the ones!

By the way, . . . . . where WAS Kevin today???? Seems that there was ONE coupe missing?????
