Replaced the business head unit with a Blau Toronto/Thummer today. Thanks to info from the MB and MZ3Net it was a fully successful install!! Also changed out the stock shift knob for the BMW polished aluminimum one. Since we had to dismantle the shift area we went ahead and removed the center console and ran all the cables needed for the CD changer back as far as the bulkhead. CD changer is tomorrow's install, part 2.

Now for the disappointing news. The new head unit did not make much if any improvement of the sound quality. Guess the amp and speakers will be coming out too...
