Hi Folks and BMW NA,
I recently had my M Coupe's second scheduled oil service. While in, the dealer performed some sort of ECM reprogramming. A week later, I opened my hood and was shocked to see the ugly sticker that they affixed to the airbox.
I'm sure there are lots of us who like to admire what's under the hood in our cars. BMW, please don't put these ugly stickers - it makes the engine compartment look cheesy and it reflects poorly on the quality of BMW cars -- why advertise that recall work had to be done to the car? If you need to put stickers on the car, put them someplace less visible, like under the valve cover or inside the passenger's door.
I'm attaching two photos of how it looks. It is just awful.
