Had a great time Saturday doing an open house tour. Started in San Diego at Cunningham, spectacular 2 hour poker-run (gadget rally of sorts) through wine country. Some of the most tasty and twisty roads in the area, and this is So. Cal, so that's saying a LOT! An we WON the grand prize of a Folding BMW bike! with a full house qeens over 4's! And yes, it does fit into the back of a coupe! THANKS CUNNIGNHAM! You put on a great event, we had an absolute ball. The fact that the prize was spirited away by a Los Angelian in a red M Coupe... well, that is as it should be (hee hee).

We followed this up by taking an auxiliary treck with another M coupe brother, north past Lake Elsinore, over some excellent mountain roads, to San Juan Capistrano. Had a few moments when we allowed traffic to get some distance, where we really had fun! Thanks Mark and Carol, it was a great day to be sure!

Then it was north to see the folks at Shelly BMW nearer home. They had a few vendors, a raffle, Jim Comforti was their to answer questions... a small gathering, some nice food... It wasn't a drive in the country, but it was a nice cap to the day of BMW obsession! saw Mike and Shahib, looking all spritzed up, cruising for BMW freindly babes most likely?

OK I was just feeling a bit grunged from touring. Wine country is hot, the last mile was on a dirt road, so the Coupe was looking a bit thrashed. Mike Z was all sharp and showered... so was his car to be sure.

Had a chance to catch up with my freinds at Evo Sport (who are responsible for Jim Comforti being at Shelly), these guys are going to be a serious tuning house!

Anyway, nice day. Now it's time to wash off the grunge. Might take a few minutes to go watch the Auto-X boys dodge cones if I have the time.
