The Z3coupe2.8 'space-saver' spare tire will just fit horizontally in the rear compartment.
Also, if you stand a 225/45ZR-17 wheel assembly vertically; be sure to tie it foward, so it doesn't rub on the rear hatch window and the de-fog printed circuit.
