If remember correctly he uses HOOSIER slicks, which are a MUCH smaller tire then anything with tread, also, I believe he has aftermarket wheels.

I have seen Hoosier 245/40's on a the stock wheels. It is ridiculous. They simply look WAY to wide, and the guy (who owns his own tuning shop) says that they do rub when driving hard.

I woudl NOT go with 245's on the front, unless you have an 8 or 8.5" wheel, and have it rigged JUST RIGHT to fit in your wheel well perfectly. I get rubbing on a 235/45 RE730, so I can only imagine what a 245/40 would be doing under there!


From what I read awhile back, I believe Mark Sipes uses 245/40/17 in the front.

Some have experienced wheel rub with the stock spring/shocks.

I'm hoping that the stiff coilover set up in front will counter this.

Have to wait and see.
