I don't think this is a really good idea. If you're in the rain, you could be hosed.
Here's the thing: The S02 is a directional tire, so you'll have to pick a direction to mount it, and if that's not the side you end up mounting it on, the tire will be going the wrong way.
This matters not at all, unless it's raining. In that case, the angled grooves between the tread blocks will pull all the water under the tire towards the center: Instant hydroplaning.
I think I'd go with the suggestion of an all-season tire, or at least something like a Pilot SX.
