afaik avon is a small british tire company that doesn't seem to market much in this country - despite the parent company (cooper) being headquartered in ohio. they do appear to have some following in the UK. some caterham/lotus 7 types come with avon racing rubber that is apparently on par with yoko 032 and 038. don't know too much more about them, but i'm sure the info is out on the web somewhere. try
