S2000- Nice car, but no M Coupe. I actually spent time comparing the cars. I like the looks of both. That's as far as it went.

The M Coupe has such a nostalgic look. Little things like the stitching/deep lip rear rims/wide back end/side badges/etc. The S2000 looked nice until the attention to detail or lack of came out. I don't see the S2000 as being exotic. This is just opinion.

Having just sold a highly modified VR6 Corrado w/ big cams and all the porting work, I grew tired of the powerband being up top. I look forward to more torque and low end! I love the short shifts and the gait of the M Coupe. I don't like a digital cluster like the S2000 or the boring rims.

Bottomline in my book is the buyer has his own book of rules. I prefer all the bells/whistles on a rock solid German car.

I can't wait. August 12th I pick up my M Coupe!!! Great board and probably my favorite forum.
