My installer took out the subwoofer enclosure and did the speaker install overnight, while the coupe went home. While he was bench testing it he tried different configurations and decided it sounded better when the port was stuffed with insulation. I took his word for it, haven't tried it the other way.

It looks like you closed off the port in the sub box. Did you? Does it sound better?
