My personal philosphy on this is now the same as Mark Sipe's. Run cheap stuff on the street, where it matters almost not at all. And run the best (Hoosiers) on the track.

Well, as I have no storage space, or many other excuses, I run in our street tire class (combo of SS, AS, and FS with an Index). So far, the KD's are much better than the MXX3's. But if the Ecsta's are just as good for my purposes, and at 1/2 the cost, WOW! So that is why I wonder how they's be in an AutoX.
