I took the M Coupe on an extended drive (Ultimate Drive event) and though I did not expect to figure out the difference , I MAY well have (unsure of course whether I was really experiencing what you were describing as the difference - semi trailing arm versus multilink rear suspension being slightly difficult at 10 10ths). But at really fast corners I could tell that I needed to concentrate real hard

:)) Hypothetically :)) of course, lets say someone went on corners at 80 or more, I can see why one would need to reaaaaly reaaallly be careful. needless to say I was extremely careful and obeyed all traffic laws :)

The M Coupe, though with the Same engine as my E36 M3 seems quite a bit more fun in some ways except for the slight abovementioned issue. I think once one drives a bit and masters it, it is a lot more fun. But like you said, since it is unsure anyway that they may come out with the new engine in the M Coupe, the E46 M3 seems like the thing to set my eyes on.... By the time it comes out, if they announce the M Coupe with the 330 hp engine, hey,...give it some more thought..

Cheers. Are you ordering an E46 M3 BTW? I dont believe in ordering too early and being treated like dirt at the dealership etc. I am going to be waiting until at least 6 months after production to even order. And if I am too late, so be it.
