I took the M Coupe on an extended drive (Ultimate Drive event)

I am "registered" to drive an M Coupe this Saturday at my local dealer, near St. Louis. Do you have any tips or comments about the whole affair? How long do you actually drive the car, can you switch cars to get more seat time? Where do you drive during the event? The parking lot, I suspect.
I own an E36 325 with aftermarket suspension and brakes. Might I get spoiled by driving the M coupe? (BMW's best kept secret!)
