I hear you! My dealership replaced my rims a few weeks ago free of charge as well. Did you get your rims replaced because of pitting in the powder coat? I was given an X5 for a few days and absolutley loved it! I got a 528 a couple of months ago when I had the car in for some service, so I know what you mean there as well. Good luck with the new tires and rims.

My dealership is excellent. They agreed to replace my rims, free of charge. I had the appt this Saturday and was givin a loaded 2000 528i for the day. However, I guess tires are very hard to swap on these rims so it took longer than expected. They also suggested I replace my tires because everything would be done for free (installation and alignment). So I bought some new Avon ZZ-1's. It took much longer than expected so I had the 528 until 5:30 on Monday. They replaced the tires, rims, vacuumed the car, washed it and gave me a loaner for 3 days for free of charge. The rims looks MUCH better, nice and shiny. The tires are awesome, I paid $576 for all four and they have excellent tread and seem to be really nice...time will tell.
On a side note, the 528 was awesome. Very nice to drive, very roomy and plenty of power for what it was. I would definately buy one! It makes me want an M-5! Sports car performance with the ride and size of a large sedan.
