3) Shimmy looked at, no problems found. I suspect it is more the Dunlop tires than anything else. So I will be replacing those soon...hopefully!

I would not suspect the Dunlops as the cause of your shimmy unless they received a faulty balance from the factory. To make sure, have the dealer re-balance 'em for you. OR ... Have you hit any big pot-holes lately? They should have checked the front-end alignment on your current visit. I've had the Dunlops for over 18,000 miles and they've been "Shimmy-less in Seattle" all that time. FYI
