You're right, of course. That's why I said that I no longer worry about all this (thus the "too much tension for an old man...") but it's still an interesting exercise.

Not to open a can of worms, but it's possible that your bar is so stiff that it's keeping the inside front wheel from reaching full rebound excursion under hard cornering. Remember that when you push down on the outside corner, you load the bar and it's pushing UP on the opposite lower suspension arm to keep the car more level (thus the "antisway" connotation).

I don't know this for sure, but it's a reasonable explanation. Just a little more mind exercise - it can't hurt.....
