Was just going to post something similar - just catching up on the days posts and read yours.
Yesterday I put Exxon 93 Super Ultra Mega Premium Whatever-its-called Gasoline in my M, usually use Shell or Mobil and maybe I'm imagining it but the thing runs smoother to the point where I actually was noticing it. Car didn't seem to rumble so much and engine seemed to bite faster than usual when hitting the accelerator.
Mind you the weather has been a trifle odd on the East coast and the humidity could be messing around with things.
Bizarrely the cold start enging power dips are not so bad on hot wet foggy humid days.
I just don't understand.

I use 93 octane fuel in my Coupe but does brand matter..such as mobil or texaco..etc...or are all the same...

Also is there more powerful fuel i can use for street use.
Last time i added some octane booster and car seemed to run better and accelerate faster. Is this possible or is it my mind playing tricks...

Thanks in Advance
Rafi
