in my opinion, the display could be a lot more involved, and should include everything from boost/vac to afr to temperatures of everything.
it's kinda plain looking, but it does the job he bought it for. he has it in his road race car, and doesn't want to look down at the tach when he's driving.
but then, a simple shift light pointed at your eyes could do the same job.
i probably wouldn't get the HUD, regardless of how much it costs
