The removal of the cosmetic covers and trunk shade/cargo net assembly are straight forward and easy.
How do I remove or unclip the panel clips without an 'official' BMW Panel Clip Removal Tool?

PS: Be sure to order the 4mm X 8mm mini-bolts/screws that hold the BMW Alpine CD Changer Brackets to amplifier bracket. They DO NOT come with the BMW Alpine CD Changer or the BMW CD Changer hold-down Brackets. They cost over $2.00 each from your local BMW Parts Department; you need a minimum of four, but I ordered the FULL eight, since I don't want the CD Changer viberating during Solo2 and track events (I find that BACH's Trio Sonata No.6 in G Major for organ inspiring or is it Bachman Turner Overdrive?
PPS: I you want to install the FULL eight 4mm X 6mm bolt/screws with integerated washers (only four are supplied in the BMW Alpine CD Changer Kit) you'll have to find a local car audio shop that carries Alpine products.
