Awesome idea! "Boat people" are just as friendly as Bimmerphiles. My dad got me into sail boating a few years ago. I only have a few hours of boating under my belt, but enough to get my ASA Bareboating license if I wanted to.

It would be pretty exspensive to run a 50' boat though, with fuel costs and all, but it would be awesome to live on one.
