....after hopping out of an Mcoupe and a 540 sport wagon, I guess I was biased before even turning the key in the X. However, the sound, power and capability of the X was a revelation. It does handle and respond very well. BMW really knows how to treat the driving enthusiast, no matter what they build! Except perhaps the 750il, which is more of a limousine, in my opinion.
Anyway, if I lived in Vail or Park City or any alpine locale, you would find an X-5 in my garage, if I could afford it! :)
