Read any of the detector reviews in any of the big car magazines. They all rank Valentine 1 head and shoulders above the rest. One of the articles I read recently went so far as to say that they believed the orignal Escort and Passport dectors that Mike Valentine designed back in the 80's could still beat all but the Valentine in most x and k band tests.
