clutch petal squeek on M-Coupe & short shifter ?? (archive)

Hello-

Any fellow M-Coupers out there experince clutch petal squeeks? Is this just the foot pad?

Also, any one yet install the UUC motorwerks short shifter from the bimmer.org store? Curious how it feels compared to the original shifter.
