of course the hp ( ~230 ) are the same but the you will lose 1sec accelaration from 0-60mph ( 6.0 manual / 6.5 auto ) and
a little bit at the vmax ( 250 km/h / 240 km/h sorry i'dont know the mph values )

also you will need more gasoline ~1 liter on 100km.

i have on my 323i an automatic transmission and it feel better for me as the manual transmission in my z3 coupe.

from my point of view i would buy an automatic if the accelaration are the same, but the 0.5sec are a reason enough for me to buy the manual.

We'll be buying a Z3 Coupe in the next couple months. Wife can't / won't drive stick. Any opinions on the performance, reliability of the automatic transmissions in Z3's?
