Finally got my baby.... damn. been waiting long enough. She is so nice. Basically, I've been driving since Friday night with breaks for sleep and pepsi. Spent this morning buzzing up and down Ortega Highway (SoCal people know that this road rawks...).. anyways...

I love this car! damn... it is so smooth. I just can't stop driving it. As soon as I pull in the driveway, its like I'm trying to think of excuses to take it out again!

wierd little problems though...
1) I went to turn the headlamps on, and the fuel gauge dropped down to below E, the light turned on, and then just as quickly - it popped back to where it had been - just below F... what gives?

2) I already got the trunk latch rattle that everybody's been talking about. Damn, that's annoying. What was the link to the fix again?

3) I have zero experience with cars of this caliber so this might be a really stupid question, but... If you redline it, the motor suddenly acts like it went into neutral. It happened once when I wasn't paying attention to the tach coming off a red light, and I was like "shit!"... I've been really careful of that know, cuz I don't know what it meant. Do these things have something where they disengage the engine or something to protect it - did I just take two years off my baby's life? (say "no"!) - am I a total moron?.. :) probably...

anyways - thanx to all you guys. I went from borderline "do i really want it?" to "i must have it" because of this board.
