If the restructuring ends up happening as proposed, then I think the E30 M3 may turn out to be a good GS car. Bob Tunnell, for the few events that he ran one before he bought the E36, thought it could do well on most courses.

I don't think the M Coupe will be a good autocrosser in any stock class, even post-restructuring. It's just too hard to drive. The Boxster 2.7 will probably always be a better autocrosser, because it's just so natural to drive.

Maybe with the E30 M3 going to GS, that might be a car to look seriously at????
